📜 Terms of Service – Potro.me

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Potro.me (“the Service”), operated by Edu Reminder (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Potro.me.
  • If you are between 13–18 years old, you must review these terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may create an account by providing:

  • Username (required)
  • Password (required)
  • Email (optional; for recovery)
  • Profile picture (optional)

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Service Description

  • Create a personal link (e.g., https://potro.me/{username})
  • Share that link with others
  • Receive anonymous or named messages

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break laws or regulations
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Impersonate someone or provide false info
  • Spread spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Interfere with the Service’s functionality

6. Content and Storage

  • Messages may be stored on our servers.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms.
  • While we protect data, we cannot guarantee complete security.

7. Reporting Abuse

8. Advertisements and Payments

  • Billing Permission: Potro.me integrates the Google Play Billing library to enable optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads or unlocking premium features). Paid features may not currently be available.
  • Advertisements: Potro.me integrates advertising libraries (e.g., Google AdMob). Ads may not always appear, but Google Play may label the app as containing ads.
  • Future Use: We may enable ads or premium features in the future. If so, these Terms & our Privacy Policy will be updated.

9. Permissions We Use

To provide its main features, Potro.me may request the following Android permissions:

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – Required to load content, enable sharing, and support ads or premium features.
  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+) / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (older versions) – Optional; allows users to select and share images when creating stories or sharing content. This is user-initiated only and not required for basic use.
  • BILLING – Supports optional in-app purchases (remove ads, premium features).

We request only the permissions necessary for app functionality.

10. Modifications to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Potro.me at any time. Updated Terms will be posted, and continued use means you accept the changes.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edu Reminder is not liable for any damages arising from use of Potro.me, including harassment via anonymous messages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dhaka courts.
